At the heart of an institution driven by student creativity, the evenko Foundation, accompanied by the band Les Trois Accords, visited Cégep de Drummond on April 30 to unveil a donation of musical instruments valued at over $40,000. The event took place in Salle Georges D’Or, in front of more than 300 people gathered for the graduating students’ showcase, all directly impacted by this meaningful gesture for the cégep’s community. 

This donation reflects Les Trois Accords’ ongoing commitment to the evenko Foundation. After taking part in several instrument donations in schools across the region, the group decided to go even further by launching a “poutine meter” during the Festival de la poutine. Since 25,000 poutines were sold, Les Trois Accords’ donation reached $12,500, directly contributing to the realization of this large-scale project, with the remaining amount covered by the evenko Foundation. 

A unifying moment to celebrate the next generation of musicians 

Beyond the material contribution, this initiative represents a tangible show of support for the next generation of musicians. By responding to the needs of the cégep, the evenko Foundation, with the support of Les Trois Accords, enables students to access high-quality resources, fostering their creativity, development, and passion for music.

Instruments that open new perspectives 

Thanks to this donation, the institution will be able to expand its inventory with new instruments, allowing a greater number of students to practice using quality equipment. These additions will help improve learning conditions and support students’ musical development.

Guided by passionate teachers, students have the opportunity to perform on stage, collaborate, and take part in enriching experiences that enhance their educational journey.
