The evenko foundation Program is an extracurricular activity conceived for high school students in the province of Quebec. It consists of giving once a week singing, guitar and scene oriented visual arts classes to teenagers after school hours.

By participating in the Program, students can convert their musical interests into applied disciplines. Qualified teachers will evaluate their abilities at the beginning of the semester and will help them develop their musical and/or artistic potential.

The evenko foundation Program takes place over a period of 22 weeks and is divided into two periods.

  • Effective October 2nd, 2017: 11 weeks of class and practice culminating in the preparation of a holiday season (december) show which will take place in the Program's participating schools;
  • Effective January 15, 2018: 11 weeks of training and practice in preparation for the evenko foundation Show.

The evenko foundation Show represents the result of the student's efforts during the year. The evenko foundation Show

To highlight and reward the results of a 22-week effort from the students, the evenko foundation Program offers them the opportunity to perform on one of the great stages in Montreal. Solo, group and collaboration numbers with Quebec artists and an artistic production of the stage are at the base of the evenko foundation Show. However, the participation of students in one of these categories remains conditional on the effort devoted to the Program.

As of mid-January 2018, an audition process will take place in preparation for the Show.

Students who participate in singing and guitar lessons but are too shy to go on stage do not have to be intimidated by the Program. Participation in the evenko foundation Program is not conditional to participation in the evenko foundation Show. It is always be possible to contribute to the Show by integrating the production team. This will be an excellent opportunity for the Program's students to understand all the necessary elements for the creation of a show.
