The evenko foundation for emerging talent celebrates its one-year anniversary by announcing that it has donated more than $300,000 in musical instruments and funds to 23 organizations and schools throughout Quebec. 

Since the launch of the foundation a year ago, many Quebec organizations from different social backgrounds have benefited from it. The foundation’s generous donations will make it possible to stimulate and foster young people’s interest in the performing arts, notably by offering them scholarships and training in dance, music, singing and comedy. 

The latest donations were announced by a dynamic duo comprised of Anne-Marie Withenshaw, member of the board of directors and ambassador of the foundation, and Eric Salvail, a television and radio host and producer.

The evenko foundation would like to thank the donors and the many sponsors who have supported its fundraising events such as the Show de la Réussite, which was held on May 4 at Théâtre Maisonneuve. The evenko foundation is also very grateful to the evenko and Équipe Spectra employees, to artists such as Coeur de Pirate, Jonas and Corey Diabo, and to Carey Price for their support and encouragement of youth.
